The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 22.07.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-15288-2025, whereby without commenting anything upon the merits of the case, the civil writ petition was disposed of with a direction to the respondent to decide the legal notice dated 16.03.2025 filed by the petitioner.

In compliance of the order dated 22.07.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-15288-2025, reply by way of short affidavit dated 18.11.2025 of Er. Amandeep Singh, Additional Superintendent Engineer, Janta Nagar (Special) Division, PSPCL, Ludhiana, along with copy of notice dated 23.09.2025 (Annexure R-1), has been filed on behalf of the respondent

before the Registry. The same is taken on record.

A perusal of the said reply shows that in compliance of order dated 22.07.2025, respondent had already passed a speaking order dated 25.09.2025, which is attached with the present petition as Annexure P-4, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner. The notice regarding personal hearing has also been annexed as Annexure R-1 along with the aforesaid reply.

Despite the fact that speaking order had already been passed after granting personal hearing, the petitioner has still chosen to file the present petition.

Though, this Court was going to impose costs of Rs.1,00,000/upon the petitioner for filing such a frivolous contempt petition, however, on the request made by learned counsel for the parties, the same is waived off. 6. In view of the above, since no contempt is made out, therefore, present contempt petition is dismissed .
