M/S Sunny Travels Regd. through Harpreet Singh Vs State Transport Commissioner, Punjab, SCO-117-178, SECTOR-17/C, Chandigarh

Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 2(b) read with Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, for initiating contempt proceedings against the respondents for wilful disobedience and noncompliance of the order dated 24.04.2026 (Annexure P-1) passed by the Writ Court in CWP-12512-2026.

Learned State counsel on instructions from Dharvinder Singh, Steno, RTA, Patiala fairly submits that in compliance of the order dated 24.04.2026, the detailed speaking order on the application is yet to be passed. He prays for two weeks more time to pass the speaking order.

The prayer is accepted, subject to the payment of Rs. 10,000/- as costs, which shall be paid to the petitioner towards litigation expenses.
