The present contempt petition has been filed for willful disobedience of the order dated 04.08.2025 (Annexure P-1) passed by this Court in CWP-22229-2025.

A perusal of the order dated 04.08.2025 (Annexure P-1) passed by this Court would show that the writ petition was disposed of with a direction to the respondents therein to decide the representation dated 01.04.2025 submitted by the petitioners, within a period of 06 months. It was also observed in the abovesaid order that if the petitioners are found entitled for the benefit, the benefit may be released forthwith.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that although, the order dated 21.01.2026 (Annexure P-4) has been passed by the respondent in favour of the petitioners, however, the benefit has not been released to the petitioners till date.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent on instructions from Sh. Vipan Kumar, Finance Officer, BFUHS, submits that order in favour of the petitioners has already been passed. He submits that the necessary benefit will be released to the petitioners within a period of 06 weeks from today.

In light of the above statement given by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the present petition may be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. However, liberty may be given to the petitioners to file an appropriate application for revival of the petition if any cause still survives.

Accordingly, the present contempt petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous with liberty as prayed for.
