The present contempt petition has been filed for initiating contempt proceedings against the respondents for willful disobedience of the order dated 14.02.2022 (Annexure P-1) passed by this Court in CWP-20384-2021 and disobedience of an undertaking by way of affidavit dated 14.02.2022 (Annexure P-2) filed in the abovesaid writ petition.

A perusal of the order dated 14.02.2022 (Annexure P-1) would show that the land owners were entitled for award of compensation as per the schedule.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents on instructions from Sh. Uma Shankar, Patwari, Faridabad, submits that the entire due amount of compensation will be released to the petitioner within a period of one month from today.

In light of the above statement given by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the present petition may be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. However, liberty may be given to the petitioner to file an appropriate application for revival of the petition if any cause still survives.

Accordingly, the present contempt petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous with liberty as prayed for.
