CONTEMPT PETITION – COMPLIANCE SHOWN – CONTEMPT PURGED, RULE DISCHARGED: Petition alleging deliberate and intentional disobedience of the order dated 27.05.2025 passed in CWP-15484-2025, whereby the respondents were directed to consider and decide the representations dated 26.08.2021 and 11.10.2021 (Annexures P-7 and P-8) and pass a speaking and reasoned order within six months. The present contempt petition has been filed alleging deliberate and intentional disobedience of the order dated 27.05.2025 passed in CWP-154842025, whereby the respondents were directed to consider and decide the representations dated 26.08.2021 and 11.10.2021 (Annexure P-7 and P-8) filed by the petitioners, and pass a speaking and reasoned order thereupon in accordance with law within a period of six months.

Learned State counsel submits that, in compliance with the order dated 27.05.2025, a speaking order dated 17.03.2026 has been passed by Ms. Hitinder Kaur, Health and Family Welfare, Punjab, and a copy of the said order has been produced, which is taken on record. A copy thereof has been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioners.

A perusal of speaking order dated 17.03.2026 shows that order dated 27.05.2025 passed in CWP-15484-2025 has been complied with.

In view of the above, the contempt stands purged and the rule is
