Petitioner has filed this petition under Sections 10 & 12 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971 read with Article 215 of Constitution of India for initiating contempt proceedings against the respondents for wilful disobedience and non-compliance of the order dated 08.12.2025 (Annexure P-1) passed by this Court in CWP-36499-2025 titled ‘ Sunil Dutt Versus State of Haryana and others ’.

The operative part of order dated 08.12.2025 (Annexure P-1) is reproduced as under:

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner has made representations to the various authorities concerned, the instant petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to pursue his representations. It is hoped that the authorities concerned shall look into the matter and to dispose of the

representations moved by the petitioner expeditiously in accordance with law.”

A perusal of the aforesaid order reveals that no specific time limit was prescribed by the Writ Court for deciding the representations submitted by the petitioner.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from Mr. Ajay Kumar, Junior Engineer, Municipal Council, Kalka, submits that, in compliance with the order dated 08.12.2025 (Annexure P-1), a speaking order dated 09.09.2026 has been passed by the District Municipal Commissioner, Panchkula. He has furnished a photocopy of the aforesaid speaking order dated 09.09.2026, which is taken on record. Learned State counsel further submits that the decision has also been communicated to the petitioner.

Learned State counsel undertakes to supply a copy of the speaking order dated 09.09.2026 passed by the District Municipal Commissioner, Panchkula, to learned counsel for the petitioner as well as to the petitioner.

In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in the present contempt petition. Accordingly, the same is disposed of.

Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
