The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 03.12.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-36021-2025, whereby direction was issued to the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioner.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Ravneet S. Joshi, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and contends that in compliance of order dated 03.12.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-36021-2025, a speaking order dated 06.04.2026 has been passed by the Director, Health and Family Welfare Department, Punjab. He has produced a copy of the said speaking order dated 06.04.2026 in the Court. The same is taken on record. A copy thereof has already been given to learned counsel for the petitioner.

A perusal of the said speaking order dated 06.04.2026 shows that order dated 03.12.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-36021-2025 has been complied with.

In view of the above, since order dated 03.12.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-36021-2025, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged.

Needless to say that the petitioner is at liberty to avail remedy as is available to him in accordance with law to challenge the said speaking order dated 06.04.2026.
