The petitioner has filed the present petition for initiation of the contempt proceedings, against the respondent on account of wilful defiance of the order dated 03.11.2025, passed by the Coordinate Bench in CRM-M61564-2025, whereby a time bound direction was given to take necessary action, on the complaint, copy whereof is Annexure P-3, in the said petition, within a period of 15 days.

It is submitted by the counsel for the petitioner that no action, as such, has been taken after the said direction, so given, by the court.

Ms. Jagriti Kalia, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. Learned state counsel, on instruction received from Ms. Manjeet Kaur, Inspector, submits that the compliant filed at the instance of the petitioner, has since been decided. In fact, it was

decided prior to the order dated 03.11.2025. Copy of the same, has been supplied by learned State counsel, which is taken on record.

Perusal of the said order reveals that the inquiry report was disposed of on 22.09.2025 and further also, it is stated that a call was also given to Pooja Kumari, petitioner, on her mobile phone and she was informed regarding the disposal of the complaint.

In view of the aforesaid order passed by the respondent Authorities, at this stage, counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not want to pursue with the present contempt petition and the same be dismissed as withdrawn.
