This is an appeal filed by the appellant for seeking enhancement of the compensation awarded by learned Tribunal, on account of injuries sustained by him, in the accident in question. After going through the contents of the impugned Award, learned counsel for the insurance company has agreed for the amicable settlement.

As evident from the findings on issue No.2, the amount of compensation awarded by learned Tribunal is hereby reproduced in tabular form:-

Also, it is evident that appellant remained admitted in the hospital from 29.04.2018 to 07.05.2018 i.e. for a period of nine days.

Considering the evidence brought on record, learned counsel for the insurance company has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/-, over and above the awarded amount and the said offer, so made, is acceptable to learned counsel for the appellant.

In view of the aforesaid amicable settlement, so reached, the present appeal stands allowed and the insurance company is directed to deposit Rs.50,000/-, in the account of the appellant, within a period of 45 days. In case of any default, on the part of the Insurance Company, to make the payment in the given period, it shall be liable to pay penal interest @ 8% per annum, till realization.

The bank details of the appellant shall be furnished by learned counsel for the appellant, within a period of 10 days from today onwards. In the eventuality, the bank details are not furnished, the appellant shall not be entitled to any interest for that period.
