24.07.2025 under Special Mediation Drive – Mediation for the Nation , since stands settled between the parties. As per the settlement, the respondent No.3 would pay an amount of ₹10,20,000 over and above the amount already awarded by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Ambala (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Tribunal’). It is further agreed that respondent No.3 would give demand drafts/cheques apportioning the amount equally amongst appellants No.1, 2 and proforma respondent No.4 and that the demand drafts/cheques would be handed over within a period of 45 days from the date of disposal of the present appeal.

Learned counsel for respondent No.3 states that respondent No.3 has agreed to pay an amount of ₹10,20,000 over and above the amount of ₹7,90,000 already awarded by the Tribunal. Learned counsel further states that the aforesaid amount would be paid as full and final settlement of all the claims and that demand drafts/cheques in the name of the appellants No.1 and 2 and proforma respondent No.4 would be handed over to them within a period of 45 days from today.

Learned counsel for the appellants states that he has no objection. 8. In view of the above, the present appeal is disposed off in terms of the settlement and with a direction to respondent No.3 to hand over the demand drafts/cheques in the name of the appellants No.1 and 2 and proforma respondent No.4 for an amount totalling ₹10,20,000 over and above the amount already awarded by the Tribunal within a period of 45 days from today. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
