Through the instant writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, challenge is thrown to the Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against the present petitioner in case FIR No.7, dated 30.04.2016, registered under Sections 406 and 498-A of the IPC, at Police Station NRI, Ludhiana City.

Today, learned State counsel appearing on behalf of respondents no.2 to 5, on instructions imparted to him by ASI Dilbagh

Singh, informs this Court that the LOC issued against the petitioner vide LOC No.2017400608, deleted as unreviewed on dated 16.10.2020, as there was no request from the State of Punjab, to review the said LOC, therefore, as on date there is no LOC, in force against the present petitioner.

A similar stand was taken by learned Additional Solicitor General of India, appearing on behalf of respondent no.1-UOI.

In view of the above statements suffered by learned Additional Solicitor General of India, as well as learned State counsel for respondents no.2 to 5, no further direction is required to be passed.

Therefore, the instant petition is ordered to be closed .
