2. Prayer made in the present petition for directing the respondents to take into consideration the service rendered by the petitioner as Beldar w.e.f. 05.05.1959 upto 31.05.1963 in the Tubewell Department Punjab as well as in Govt. College, Malerkotla w.e.f 01.06.1963 upto 30.09.1996.

3 . Learned State counsel has referred to para-2 of the reply filed in CM-14423 of 2017 to which there was no rebuttal by filing any counter, and reads thus:

“2.That the contents of para No.2 of the application are not admitted. In fact the petitioner was appointed on regular basis w.e.f. 18.10.1973 and he retired from the service as Beldar on 30.09.1996. His pension and other retired benefits have already been released to him and he is not entitled to claim any other benefit from the Govt. It is further stated that he had not worked continuously on a regular pensionable post before 19.10.1973. The petitioner did not work in the department of Higher Education prior to 1.6.1963. He was afresh appointed as Belder on purely temporary basis to be paid out of funds of Govt. College, Malerkotla from 1.6.1993 to 17.10.1973.”
