At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner, with reference to the order dated January 20, 2025, submits that the application for rectification has been allowed, and the impugned demand has since been deleted. However, he submits that the amount as regards pre-deposit to maintain the appeal, as also the amount that had already been recovered by the authorities, has not been refunded. Accordingly, it is submitted that he be permitted to withdraw the petition to enable the petitioner to avail such other remedies, as shall be admissible in law, in this regard.

Dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty prayed for.
