T he present writ petition h a s been filed under Article s 226/227 of t he Constitution of India see k ing issuance of a writ in th e nature of ma n damus directing the respond e nt-department to consider th e name of the p etitioner for promotion from D river to Yard Master by addin g his name in t h e final seniority list, as the s a me has not been mentioned i n the tentative seniority list of Drivers to b e promoted as Yard Master , circulated vide letter dated 29.07.2025 (Annexure P-8).
