The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the orders dated 29.12.2021 and 30.12.2021, Annexures P-7 & P-8 respectively. Further, a direction has been sought to the respondents to grant extension to the petitioner from 11.10.2021 to 10.12.2022 as Associate Professor, allow her to continue in service, and grant salary for the said period.

Learned senior counsel contends that the petition has been rendered infructuous as pursuant to a fresh selection she has joined as Associate Professor on contract basis in the Department of Dentistry at SABVGMC, Faridabad, and salary for the aforementioned period has also been paid.
