respondent s , to implement Rule 11 of t he Consumer Protection (Di r ect Selling) Rules, 2021, and to set up a mec h anism in the State of Punjab a nd Haryana, to monitor, supervise and regulat e the business and the activities of direct seller and direct selling entity.

It is informed to this Court, b y learned counsel for the State of Haryana, t h at during the pendency of t h e instant petitions, the State of Haryana, a s already framed the apposit e rules and regulations, wher e as, learned co u nsel for the State of Punjab, o n instructions imparted to him by Dr. Anjum a n Bhaskar, Additional Director , Food Civil Supplies, informs t his Court, that t hey are in the process of framing the rules and regulations, and t he said exercise will be completed within the n ext three months.

In view of the specific stand t a ken by the learned counsel for t he States of P u njab and Haryana, no further d i rection is required to be passe d in the instant w rit petitions, and the same are h ereby closed .

However, learned counsel for t he State of Punjab, in view of t he submission made before this Court, shall ensure the framing of rules a nd regulations, within the next three months, fr om the date of receipt of certi fi ed copy of this order.
