Prayer in the present petition is for directing the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioners for regularization of their services after completion of two years as per instructions dated 23.03.1998 (Annexure P-4) alongwith granting all consequential benefits with interest @ 18% per annum.

After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that with regard to their grievance(s), the petitioners have got served a legal notice dated 11.12.2024 (Annexure P-10) but the respondents have neither responded to the same nor have they taken any action upon the said legal notice.

Learned counsel for the petitioners, however, contends that he would be satisfied at this stage, in case respondent No.2- The Director General, State Transport Haryana, Chandigarh is directed to consider and decide the legal notice dated 11.12.2024 (Annexure P-10) served by the petitioners, by passing a speaking order in a time bound manner.

Learned State Counsel does not have any objection to the request made by learned counsel for the petitioners.
