Th r ough the instant petition, as f iled under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners have sou g ht issuance of directions upon the official respon d ents, to ensure protection of th e ir lives and liberty at the hand s of respondent Nos. 4 to 6, and, also to restrain the said respondent from harassing the petitioners or in t erfering in their peaceful life.

Le a rned counsel for the petitioner s submits that the petitioners h a ve filed a civil s u it against the private respon d ent Nos. 4 to 6 and during t he pendency of the said civil suit, the private r e spondents are now harassing a nd threatening the petitioners. Therefore, he pray s that a direction be issued to t he official respon d ents to decide the representation of the petitioners filed bef o re SHO, Sangrur ( P unjab) on 23.05.2025.
