The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of th e Constitutio n of India, seeking the issua n ce of a writ in the nature o f mandamus, directing the respondents to re s tore security to the petitioner i n light of the p erceived threat and previous at t acks.

Learned counsel for the petiti o ner does not press the presen t petition but prays that the representation d a ted 15.05.2025 (Annexure P-5) , submitted t o the Commissioner of Police , Amritsar City, as well as th e Additional D irector General of Police (Se c urity), Punjab, Chandigarh, b e considered i n accordance with the law.
