Petitioners have filed this petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect the lives and personal liberty of the petitioners and also directing the respondents No. 4 to 9 not to interfere in the personal lives of petitioners.

Learned State counsel at the outset submits that nothing survives in the present petition and in compliance of order dated 22.01.2025, reply by way of affidavit of Karan Singh Sandhu, PPS Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Kharar-1, District SAS Nagar has been filed on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3. Same is taken on record. Be tagged at the appropriate place.

Learned State counsel refers to para No. 5 of the said status report and submits that ASI Gurdeep Singh has personally visited house of the petitioner as mentioned in reply on 12.05.2025 and further both the petitioners were not found present at the address given and the owner of the flat informed the police officials concerned that he has rented the flat to one Sanwal son of Tarsem Kumar, however, petitioner No. 1 was contacted on AJAY GOSWAMI her mobile number and she informed that she does not want to take any action 2025.05.16 18:14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

with regard to present petition filed by her and she further stated that now she is staying happily in Moga and as such she cannot come and record her statement. A DDR No. 29 dated 12.05.2025 was duly recorded in the concerned police station. As such, there is no threat to the life and liberty of the petitioners.

In view of the reply filed on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3, no further directions are required to be issued in the present petition and the same is disposed of as such.
