This Criminal Writ Petition under Article 226 of the

Constitution of India has been filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing the respondents Nos. 1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of Respondent No.4 to 8 and not harass the petitioners on any false criminal complaint, if any lodged by the private respondent or any of their relatives.

Learned State Counsel submits that during the course of enquiry into the representation dated 19.03.2025, it has come to notice that the

parties have entered into compromise and accordingly on account of compromise have filed petition for quashing of the FIR bearing No. CRMM-23573-2025 which is pending for 11.07.2025 before this Court.

Learned counsel for respondents No. 4 to 7 has also produced a copy of the agreement/compromise dated 08.05.2025 incorporated in punjabi language which is on non-judicial paper and has been counter signed by Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat Balsarai, PO Raiya, Tehsil Baba Bakala, District Amritsar.

Though counsel for the petitioner has disputed the fact of compromise while admitting the signatures on the said compromise alleging to have got them forcefully.

Be that as it may, as far as threat perception is concerned that is not existing now in the present case as respondent No.7-Rawal Singh has entered into compromise having no objection to the relationship of the present petitioner as such, thus, no cause of action survives in the present petition which needs to be dealt with.

Hence, this petition dismissed as having been rendered

infructuous.
