Th e petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a direction to th e respondents to p rotect the petitioner’s life and l i berty as he apprehends threat a t the hands of res p ondent nos.7 and 8.

Le a rned State counsel contends t hat the petitioner’s complaint s have been inquired into and statements of re s pondent nos.7 and 8 have als o been recorded, u pon that basis status report, d a ted 19.04.2025, has been filed , concluding that the petitioner has not been thr e atened by the said respondent s and there is n o danger to his life. She als o contended that subsequentl y statements of t h e petitioner as well as his com p anions were recorded, wherei n they stated that no threat was ever received by the petitioner, instead the threa t had been received by his companions. The Station House Officer, Polic e Station, City H a nsi, has submitted a report dat e d 10.05.2025, again concludin g that there is no t hreat to the petitioner’s life and liberty at this stage.
