This petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for the issuance of a direction upon the official respondents to transfer investigation of FIR No.62, dated 16.04.2025, under Sections 126(2), 78, 74, 351(2), 134 and 3(5) of BNS, registered at Police Station Nangal, District Rupnagar to any other independent agency or to any other Senior Officer of Police.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has filed the representation dated 17.05.2025 (Annexure P-2) before respondent No.3 raising her grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereupon. He further submits that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied if, appropriate directions are issued to the respondents concerned to consider and decide the aforesaid representation filed by the petitioner and take necessary action thereupon.
