The petitioner has filed the pre s ent petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 202 3 , for issuance of directions to the official respondents f or conducting f air and impartial investigation in FIR No.81 dated 31.03.20 2 5, registered u n der Sections 281, 125(a) and 109 of the BNS, 2023, at Pol i ce Station Dera Bassi, District Mohali.

Learned counsel for the petitio n er submits that the FIR in quest i on was lodged w ay back but investigation is no t being carried out in a free and f air manner and t he same is not even making a n y headway as the accused has n ot been arreste d till date.
