I n the present civil revision, the petitioner has challenged the inordinate delay in disposing the applicatio n under Section 36(2) of the Arbitration a n d Conciliation Act, 1996 (for short ‘the 1996 Act’) by the Additional District Judge, Ferozepur. The p etitioner has prayed that his application u n der Section 36 (2) of the 199 6 Act to be decided in a time bound manner.

V ide order dated November 13, 2 024, a Coordinate Bench of this Court dir e cted the Additional District J u dge, Ferozepur to decide the application fil e d under Section 36(2) of the 1 9 96 Act, prior to the date fixed by this Court. A report to that effect was also c alled for.
