The present contempt petition has been filed for non-compliance of order dated 29.11.2024 passed by this Court in CWP-3089-2002.

The above said writ petition was disposed of in terms of the decision dated 31.10.2022 rendered in CWP No. 2666-2018 and CWP-456-2020. The relevant portion of order dated 31.10.2022 passed by this Court in CWP No. 2666-2018 and CWP-456-2020 is reproduced as under:-:-

“Keeping in view the above, the pensionary benefits also being claimed on the basis of current duty charge, cannot be allowed in favour of the petitioners. Both the writ petitions stands allowed only with regard to the prayer of the petitioners for the grant of salary of the higher post on which the petitioners have discharged the duties. Let the computation of the entitlement of the petitioners under this

In compliance of the above order, affidavit dated 21.02.2025 of Ms. Geeta Bharti, IAS, Secretary, Home Department, Govt. of Haryana has been filed on behalf of respondent No. 1. The operative part of the same reads as under:-

“6.That in compliance of the ibid order dated 29.11.2024, of this

Hon'ble Court, after due consideration, the claim of petitioner stands decided, vide order dated 19.02.2025 of Director General of Prisons, Haryana I.e respondent no. 2. The copy of the order dated 20.09.2024 is annexed herewith as Annexure R-1 for the kind perusal of this Hon'ble Court. Hence, the order dated 29.11.2024 passed by this Hon'ble Court in ibid CWP No. 3089 of 2002 stands complied, accordingly, this contempt petition has now rendered infructuous.

In view of the above, order dated 29.11.2024 passed by this Court in CWP-3089-2002 has already been complied with. This fact is not disputed by learned counsel for the petitioner.
