This petition has been filed, inter alia , seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the action of respondent no.2 by which the petitioner has not been promoted to the post of TGT Science as against his juniors and other batchmate JBT Teachers, who have been promoted to the posts of TGT Science vide order dated 11.11.2020 (Annexure P-11). Further, a writ of mandamus has been sought directing respondent no.2 to promote the petitioner to the post of TGT Science with effect from 17.07.2018 along with all consequential benefits and interest at the rate of eighteen per cent per annum.
