Prayer in this petition filed u n der Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing o f FIR No. 44 dated 04.03.2 0 23 (Annexure P-2) registered under Sec t ions 376, 506, 354-D and 120-B IPC at Police Station Tibba, District L u dhiana and all subsequent proc e edings arising therfrom on the basis of co m promise deed dated 17.04.202 3 (Annexure P-1).

At the very outset, learned co u nsel for the parties are ad idem that they h ave no instructions in the mat t er although, they have tried to establish c ontact with their respective c l ients, but the parties are not respondin g to their calls.

It has been repo r ted therein that ‘the parties h a ve failed to appear before the court to g e t recorded their statements in order to ascertain the veracity and genui n eness of compromise between t h e parties’.

In view of the above, no f u rther order is required to be passed in t h e instant petition and the same s tands dismissed.
