“The petitioners seek grant o f anticipatory bail in respect of a cas e registered vide FIR No.7, dated 3 .3.2024 at Police Station Ghuma n Ka l an, District Gurdaspur, under Sections 325, 326, 341, 323, 148 an d 14 9 of Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petiti o ners submitted that it is a case o f cro s s-versions, wherein two persons f rom the side of the petitioner i.e . pet i tioner No.1 – Amritpal Singh an d co-accused Manpreet Singh hav e sus t ained grievous injuries. Learned c ounsel, in this regard, has draw n the attention of this Court to MLR s in respect of petitioner No.1 – A m ritpal Singh and co-accused M a npreet Singh annexed with th e pet i tion as Annexures P-4 and P-5, re s pectively.
Notice of motion for 2.9.2024.
Meanwhile, in the event of ar r est, the petitioners be released o n int e rim bail subject to their furnishin g personal bonds and surety bond s to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, th e pet i tioners shall join the investigatio n as and when called upon to do s o an d cooperate with the Investigating O fficer and shall also abide by th e co n ditions as provided under Section 4 38 (2) Cr.P.C.”

Having r e gard to the aforestated positio n , wherein all the petitioners ar e stated to h ave joined investigation and a r e not required for any custodia l interroga t ion and otherwise have a cle a n record, all the petitions ar e accepted a nd the interim directions issue d by this Court vide orders date d 08.04.20 2 4, 16.04.2024 & 20.04.2024 a r e hereby made absolute subjec t to the co n dition that the petitioners shal l join investigation as and whe n called upon to do so and cooperate wit h the Investigating Officer an d shall als o abide by the conditions as p rovided under Section 438 (2 ) Cr.P.C.
