Today, at the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to file afresh to the authorities concerned for issuance of arms licence.
In view of the aforesaid submission, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid. Needless to mention, in case the rules and law permit, any such application filed by the petitioner shall be considered and disposed of in accordance with law while duly taking into account the alleged threat perception as on date.
