the boundary. When after crossing the barricading he reached at some distance, then from backside one person in police uniform came there on car, who was under influence of some intoxicant. Lateron he came to know his name as HC Suba Singh (Petitioner). Petitioner got stopped the vehicle of complainant and under his pressure the complainant moved back his vehicle at barricading, where petitioner started clicking photographs of the vehicle of complainant. At that time another police employee ASI Jaspal Singh was also present at the barricading, who was also under influence of some intoxicant. Petitioner started threatening the complainant and demanded Rs.25000/- from him on account of fine. On repeated requests of the complainant, the petitioner directed him to pay Rs.5000/- on account of bribe, otherwise he will make the challan of Rs.25000/-. Complainant handed over Rs.2000/- to the petitioner and requested him to make the challan of Rs.2000/-. Petitioner demanded more amount from the complainant. Complainant started recording video on his phone, and then taken out Rs.1000/- from his pocket, then petitioner signalled to his companion ASI Jaspal Singh, who received said amount from the complainant. During verification it is found that petitioner and his co-accused ASI Jaspal Singh had received Rs.3,000/- on account of bribe from the complainant under threat. After completion of verification deponent sent its report to the headquarters and after approval of the report, instant case has been registered.”
