Counsel for the State hgas filed the affidavit of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural), to submit that on completion of investigation, the challan stands presented before the Illaqa Magistrate.
Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous.
However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to avail the alternative remedy in accordance with law before the Illaqa Magistrate, if so advised.
