Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Jaspal Singh has stated that the local police has recorded statements of the petitioners wherein they have stated that they no longer apprehend any danger to their lives and liberty at the hands of private respondents now and further they do not require any police protection. Learned counsel for the petitioners has also stated so adding that the petitioners have instructed him to withdraw the present petition and he be permitted to do so.
Permission is granted. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
