Petitioners have filed this writ petition under Articles 226/227 Constitution of India for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to protect their life and liberty from respondent Nos.4 to 10 as they have solemnized marriage on 03.02.2021 against their wishes.
On 08.02.2021, learned State counsel sought time to verify the existence of alleged threat.
Reply by way of affidavit of Satvinder Singh Virk, PPS Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Div. Faridkot, has been filed by learned State counsel along with the joint statement of the petitioners (Annexure R-1/T), who stated that they do not apprehend any danger from respondents No.4 to 10
