Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting anything as regards the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Mansa, that in case any representation is filed by the petitioner seeking protection for himself or for other members of his family, the alleged threat perception shall be got examined and in case the assertions regarding the same are found to be well founded, then necessary steps as warranted under law be taken thereupon at the earliest.
