Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had lodged FIR No. 286, dated 3.7.2020, Police Station City Tohana, District Fatehabad, under Section 25 of Arms Act and Sections 307, 34 IPC about 8 months back but till date the police has not conducted any effective investigation in the matter.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards the veracity of the averments made in the petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2-Superintendent of Police Fatehabad to ensure that the matter pertaining to above FIR is got investigated expeditiously in accordance with law so that a final report is submitted thereafter at the earliest.
