Today, at the very outset learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage he restricts his prayer for issuance of a direction to provide security to the petitioner or her representative as she apprehends threat to her life as well as her representative when she/her representative would go to the Office of Sub Registrar for registration of sale-deed in respect of her land.

In view of the aforestated restricted prayer, the petition is disposed of with a direction that in case a representation/application is made by the petitioner/her representative to Senior Superintendent of Police, Roopnagar (respondent No.3) for providing security, the alleged threat

perception shall be got examined by respondent No.3 and in case it is found that there is some serious apprehension or threat to life or liberty of the petitioner/her representative, then necessary steps as warranted under law be taken thereupon particularly to enable the petitioner/her representative to get the sale deed in respect of her land executed and registered.
