Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.137 dated 09.12.2018 under Section 15 of the NDPS Act registered at P.S Sadar Banga, District SBS Nagar.
Allegations in the FIR are that 60 kg of popy husk was recovered from co-accused Baljinder Singh, who is alleged to have revealed in his disclosure statement that the contraband belongs to the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw this petition and prays that the trial Court may be directed to decide the application of the petitioner for bail expeditously in the event of petitioner surrendering.
Request appears to be innucuous.
Pesent petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty that in case, the petitioner surrenders before the trial Court and files application for bail, it is expected that the trial Court will decide the same expeditously.
