Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.555 dated 29.09.2017, registered under Section 506 IPC and Section 3(1)(S) of the SC and ST Act, 1989 at Police Station Gharaunda, District Karnal (P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise/affidavit dated 12.03.2019 (P-2).

Pursuant to order dated 19.03.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 10.04.2019 along with receipt of `15,000/- to get their statements recorded. Learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Karnal, has submitted his report vide letter bearing

According to the report, ld. Additional District and Sessions Judge, Karnal, is satisfied that the statements made by both the parties are voluntary without having any undue influence or pressure and matter has been compromised between them. Now, they have no grudge against each other. No accused has been declared as proclaimed offender.

Considering the report of ld. Additional District and Sessions Judge, Karnal, dated 10.04.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.555 dated 29.09.2017 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioner only.
