This petition has been filed challenging judgments dated 07.04.2011 and 08.10.2013 passed by the learned Rent Controller, Ferozepur and learned Appellate Authority, Ferozepur, respectively.
Petition under Section 13 of the East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act, 1949 was filed by the respondents-landlords for eviction of the petitioners from the demised premises. bonafide necessity of the landlords. Said verdict dated 07.04.2011 was upheld by the learned Appellate Authority, Ferozepur vide judgment dated 08.10.2013 whereby appeal filed by the present petitioners was dismissed.
It is not in dispute that while issuing notice of motion in this case on 03.02.2014, it is specifically mentioned that dispossession of the petitioners shall remain stayed subject to the condition that they continue to pay the future rent and would also clear all the arrears on this count within a period of four weeks.
Learned counsel for the petitioners is unable to deny that the petitioners have not deposited the rent in terms of order dated 03.02.2014, neither does learned counsel have any instructions in this regard.
In this view of the matter, present revision petition is dismissed. CM No.11091-CII of 2019 is rendered infructuous.
