A complaint was filed against the present appellant under Sections 406, 420 and 120-B IPC, before the Court of Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate by his relative Rama Singla – respondent. A written compromise was arrived at between the parties whereby the appellant agreed to pay a total sum of Rs.15 lacs to Rama Singla.
Due to non-compliance of the terms of the agreed compromise, the appellant has been convicted and sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for one month vide order dated 8.4.2019, passed by
