The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 82 dated 30.06.2016 registered for offences punishable under Sections 420 and 406 of Indian Penal Code (for short 'IPC'), at Police Station Garshanker, District Hoshiarpur

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has since been compromised and the petitioner has also joined the investigation. Learned State counsel affirms the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner.
Keeping in view the fact that the matter has since been amicably settled by the parties and that the petitioner has also joined the investigation but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed and order dated 04.11.2016 is made absolute till the presentation of challan, subject to the following terms:-
