The prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C is for quashing of FIR No. 118 dated 20.7.2014 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 295/323/34 of IPC at Police Station Sadar Ludhiana, District Ludhiana, along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2).

Report of the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Ludhiana has been received wherein it has been reported that the statements of both the private respondents as well as the accused have been recorded and compromise has been effected between the parties. It has also been reported that the complainant has no

objection if the present FIR registered against the petitioner is quashed. It is further reported that the said compromise is voluntary and is without any coercion, pressure or undue influence.

Since, the parties have amicably settled their dispute, therefore, FIR No. 118 dated 20.7.2014 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 295/323/34 of IPC at Police Station Sadar Ludhiana, District Ludhiana, along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom stands quashed on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2).
