Giriraj Singh and Ors. Vs State of Haryana and Ors.

of the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961, as applicable to the State of Haryana, at the instance of the Gram Panchayat, the petitioners have filed a Statutory Appeal alongwith stay application which is pending consideration before the Deputy Commissioner-cum-Collector, Palwal. It is averred that no decision has been taken on the stay application due to which the petitioners are apprehending their dispossession in execution proceedings.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and without expressing any views on merits, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner-
