Learned State counsel has submitted that only one prosecution witness remains to be examined i.e. Investigating Officer and has further assured that every effort will be made to examine the Investigating Officer on the date fixed i.e. 11.09.2015.
Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition at this stage.
