On 27.11.2014, the following RFAs were decided i.e. RFA Nos.1602 of 1999 titled as Ran Singh and others vs. State of Punjab), RFA Nos.1194 and 1196 of 1999 titled as Harnam Singh (deceased) through LRs and others vs. State of Punjab, inadvertently the mention of RFA No.2359 of 1999 tilted as State of Punjab and others vs. Ran Singh and others, which is a cross appeal from the Award dated 01.12.1998, out of which the above stated RFAs have arisen was missed.
Since it is an appeal preferred by the State of Punjab, hence in view of judgement laid down in RFA No.4525 of 2001 titled
as Thuru Ram vs. State of Punjab and others decided on 16.03.2009, the same deserves to be dismissed and the land
