Learned senior counsel for the petitioners has submitted that respondents be given a direction to consider the claim of the petitioners in terms of decision of this Court dated 24.10.2008 (Annexure P-4) as upheld by the LPA Bench vide order dated 12.2.2009 (Annexure P-6) and by the Apex Court vide order dated 26.7.2012 (Annexure P-8). With regard to redressal of their grievance, petitioners have served a notice (Annexure P-9) to the respondents but no action has been taken on the same so far.
Accordingly, without adverting to the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to dispose of the notice (Annexure P-9), moved by the petitioners, expeditiously, in accordance with law, preferably within three months from the receipt of the certified copy of this order.
