(1) Notice of motion. On our asking, Mr. Ajay Nara, Advocate
accepts notice on behalf of HUDA. Having regard to the nature of order which we propose to pass, there is no necessity to call upon the respondents to file reply/affidavit, at this stage.
(2) The issue pertains to allotment of plot to the petitioner under the ‘Oustee quota’ in Sector 6, Mansa Devi Complex, Panchkula.
(3) It is pointed out by learned counsel for the parties that in somewhat similar circumstances, this Court vide order dated 21.01.2014 passed in CWP No.966 of 2014 (Neha Mittal vs. Haryana Urban Development Authority and others) has already directed the authorities to do the needful within three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order.

(4) Learned counsel for HUDA states due to election duty the needful could not be done within the above-mentioned time schedule. He assures that given some more time, all earnest efforts shall be made to implement those directions in a time-bound manner and the matter regarding allotment of plots to the oustees in Sectors 2&6, Mansa Devi Complex, Panchkula shall be resolved.
(5) Taking into consideration the totality of the circumstances, we dispose of this writ petition with a further direction (in continuation to the order dated 21.01.2014 passed in
Neha Mittal’s case) to the respondents to make allotments to the eligible allottees before 31.07.2014 failing which the affected oustees may seek special damages from the HUDA authorities in accordance with law.
