Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 55 dated 19.2.2013 under Section 419, 420, 465, 467, 468, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Tripuri Town, Patiala.
While issuing notice of motion, following order was passed by this Court on 29.5.2014:-
“Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is neither the beneficiary of alleged sale deed nor he is seller, buyer or a witness of the same. It is also submitted that Mohinder Singh, who had purchased the property has since been granted the concession of anticipatory bail by Additional Sessions Judge, Patiala vide order dated 17.5.2013.

In the meantime, the petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer on 5.6.2014 at 11.00 a.m. and join the investigation. In the event of his arrest, he be admitted to interim bail by the Investigating Officer/Arresting Officer to his satisfaction. He shall, however, abide by all the conditions as envisaged by Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.”
Learned State counsel, who is assisted by Assistant Sub Inspector Parkash Masih, has submitted that in terms of the above order, petitioner has joined investigation and is not required for further investigation.
Accordingly, interim bail granted by this Court to the petitioner vide order dated 29.5.2014 is made absolute. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
