The petitioners are mother-in-law and husband of complainant Bhavneet Kaur, who was married to petitioner No.2 on 28.10.2012. There are allegations of demand of dowry, assault and misappropriation of gold ornaments. The matter was referred to the Mediation Centre. It appears that the matter has been compromised. The terms of the compromise indicate that a sum of Rs.20 lacs along with a plot situated in Santpura Road, Near Railway Station, Bathinda is to be transferred in the name of complainant Bhavneet Kaur and the marriage is to be dissolved u/s 13 B of the Hindu Marriage Act. As part performance of the terms of the compromise a sum of Rs.5 lacs in the shape of a bank draft, in the name of the complainant Bhavneet Kaur, has been handed over to the complainant today in court. A copy of the same has been placed on record. It has been undertaken on behalf of the petitioners that the terms of the compromise will be adhered to by the petitioners.

In view of the above circumstances, this petition is allowed and it is ordered that in case of arrest of the petitioners they will be released on bail to the satisfaction of the arresting officer subject to the following TAPINDER SINGH MANN 2014.10.14 17:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

1. The petitioners will abide by the terms and conditions of the compromise dated 4.9.2014, entered into between the parties.

1. The petitioners will join the investigation as and when required by the police.

1. The petitioners will not leave India without the permission of the court during the pendency of the proceedings or till the compliance of the terms of the compromise.

be open to the complainant to file a misc. application for cancellation of bail, granted to the petitioners.
